Beginning January 4th, 2012 there will be a new overdue policy.

The Townsend Library will no longer be forgiving the $15.00 processing fee per book. The processing fee can be avoided by returning the item before you receive a 4th overdue notice; after the 4th overdue notice charges are placed on your account and sent to the business office for billing.

If the overdue items are returned in good shape after the 4th overdue notice we will be forgiving the cost of the item, however you will still be responsible for the $15.00.

If you have damaged an item you have the option to replace the damaged copy with as long as it is the same item; the best way to do this is by ISBN number.

Please make sure to update your contact information at the library even if you updated at student services, this way you can receive the overdue notices and the over phone reminders.
