Scholarships
• Must be a high school senior with a 2.5 cumulative high school GPA or have a GED score of 600 or higher or HiSET score of 50 or higher.
• Must enroll in 12 or more NMSU-A credit hours.
• Must be a New Mexico resident who will graduate from a New Mexico high school or receive a New Mexico GED or HiSET.
• Home-schooled students will have to take the New Mexico GED or HiSET to qualify for this scholarship.
• This scholarship will pay ONLY for classes taken at the Alamogordo campus. It will not cover any classes taken at other campuses.
Criteria:

- Must be a degree-seeking female student enrolled at NMSU-Alamogordo.
- Must have completed at least 12 college credit hours and have had at least one-semester break at some point in her college attendance.
- Must be enrolled in no fewer than six semester hours (online classes accepted).
- Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the most recent 12 hours of college credit.
- This must be documented by an official transcript from the Registrar’s Office or an internet copy containing the official letter stating it is a certified valid transcript.
- Must be able to give a brief description of financial need.
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
