Continuing Education
What is Continuing Education?
Continuing Education offers a wide variety of non-credit courses for lifelong learning in the areas of Community Education and professional development/training. Additionally, Continuing Education offers workforce development, which includes contractual and/or customized training.
- Community Education classes are designed for all ages with subjects on health & wellness, art, golf, dance, and languages.
- Professional development/training classes are designed to help individuals, businesses, agencies, and industries by providing classes that will improve individual and/or employee performance and productivity.
- Workforce development/contract training classes are developed in response to specific business needs and may be taught either on campus or at the business location.
Many courses help students prepare for a new career. Students may choose from a variety of online and face-to-face classes. In addition to the website information, class schedules are distributed throughout the NMSU-A service area three times a year: fall, spring, and summer.
