Notice to apply for tenure to pre-tenure faculty from CEAO to candidates due (copy to division heads - DHs and P&T Chair)

May 15, 2026

Letter of intent to apply for promotion or tenure to DH, CEAO and Chair of P&T.

(First Friday in October)
October 2, 2026
Promotion and Tenure Portfolios submitted in Watermark to DHs.

(No later than the last Monday in October)
October 12, 2026

P/T candidate portfolio meetings with DHs. 10 working days for rebuttal. 
October 23, 2026

Promotion and Tenure Portfolios submitted in Watermark to P&T Committee

(Following Monday for nine days through Thursday)
October 26 - November 5, 2026

P/T portfolios available to ALL faculty for viewing and comments, DH letter and evaluations not included.

Comments on portfolios sent to P&T Chair.

P/T portfolios available to P&T Committee does include the DH letters and all evaluations.

(Following two Fridays)

P&T review promotion and tenure portfolios.

Candidates receive P&T review results. 10 working days for rebuttal.

CEAO meets/informs candidates of promotion/tenure recommendation. 10 working days after meeting/informing for rebuttal.

All regular faculty APEs (complete AOE, Narrative of accomplishments, student evals) due to Division Heads through Watermark Faculty Success.

October 2, 2026 Initial AOEs due to Division Head through Watermark Faculty Success. AOEs reviewed by CEAO after DH review. AOE rebuttals are appealed to the CEAO.

October 9, 2026

APE evaluation meetings completed with DHs. 10 working days for rebuttal.

All pre-tenure faculty APEs submitted by faculty to P&T Committee through Watermark Faculty Success.

(Fourth Friday in October)
October 23, 2026

All other faculty AOEs and APEs from DH proceed to CEAO through Watermark Faculty Success Workflow.
(First Friday in November)
November 6, 2025

P&T reviews of pre-tenure APEs due to pre-tenure faculty members. 10 working days for corrections and rebuttal.

(Third Friday in November)
November 20, 2026
After review by P&T committee, pre-tenure APEs to CEAO through Watermark Faculty Success.

During December

CEAO reviews all APEs. CEAO notifies faculty through Watermark Faculty Success of the result of the CEAO review. Faculty may set up an optional meeting with the CEAO to discuss APE. CEAO will respond to meeting requests within 10 working days.
