Apply for Degree or Certificate
All undergraduate students must submit their degree or certificate applications online through your myNMSU account. Login to myNMSU. Under the Student Tab, Launchpad-Records/Degree Application link, you will find the Application for Degree (Diploma) link. Follow the on-screen prompts to submit a degree or certificate application. Degree/certificate applications are free on the NMSU-A campus. Please note the deadlines for each semester.
Degree Diplomas and Certificates
Diplomas and Certificates will be issued 4 - 6 weeks after the deadline for final grades at the end of each term. For example, Fall semester diplomas or certificates may not be received until the middle of February, due to the holiday; the Spring semester may not be received until June; Summer semester may not be received until mid-September.
If you have not received your diploma, please follow up with the Office of University Student Records or email NMSU Diplomas. If you have not received your certificate, please contact Student Services. Include your full name and Aggie/Student ID number.
Students are advised to verify, with an academic advisor, that all requirements are met, and/or in progress, before submitting an application.
Applications must be submitted by the deadlines noted. For application deadlines, go to the Campus Calendar and choose the Academic Calendar for the academic year you will have completed degree requirements. Students who fail to meet graduation requirements by the date indicated on the Application for Degree or Certificate must reapply the next term in which requirements are met.
Any changes to degree applications must be submitted by email to NMSU diploma early in the semester.
Any changes to certificate applications must be submitted by email to NMSU-A Student Services.
