Non-Degree Status Admission

Non-degree admission is designed to meet the needs of part-time students who do not currently wish to pursue a degree.

Admission requirements to achieve non-degree seeking status include:

  • Submission of an Application for Admission. Late fee is charged after deadline to apply for current term. Check Important Dates.
  • Unofficial high school transcript or GED
  • Unofficial college transcripts from all previously attended colleges

Please Note: Non-Degree Seeking Students are subject to the same university regulations as regular students. Also, Non-Degree Students may not transfer more than 30 credits from this status to any undergraduate degree program offered at any NMSU campus.
