The Title V Developing Hispanic Serving Institutions project at NMSU-A is using Guided Pathways as the framework for meeting objectives and goals. Guided Pathways integrates academic and student services together in a coherent and intentional system of curricular and co-curricular experiences that match a student's interests and goals, and better prepares them for success.

The intention is that Guided Pathways improves student success rates at NMSU-A. NMSU-A proudly serves a large Hispanic and low-income population. The mission of NMSU-A is to provide quality learning opportunities for individuals in the diverse communities we serve. The rationale for using Guided Pathways is summarized by our need and desire to complete our mission successfully.
