Laura Klose joined NMSU-A in 2021. She currently serves in the Online Learning Office as Instructional Consultant and is an adjunct instructor of Early Childhood Education. She has spent most of her career teaching in public schools. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Angelo State University, received a Master's of Education degree from Lesley University, and earned a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. She has taught for 13 years in the K-8 environment and has worked as a mental health counselor. Laura now lives in Alamogordo to be close to her parents and sister's family. She enjoys spending time with her fur-baby, Sweetie. She is also an active member of a local church where she teaches children and participates in short mission trips.
