Payment and Payment Plan fees
NMSU offers students the option of paying term tuition and fees due over the course of aa term. Payments are due on the 15th of each month.

Billing
Electronic Billing (E-Bill) is the official method for delivery of billing statements to NMSU students. Billing statement are generated at the beginning of each month, students will receive an email to their official NMSU e-mail address. This email will contain instruction on how to access their bill.
Delinquent Prior Semester Balances
Students with Delinquent Prior Semester balances may have their current courses canceled if arrangements for previous term debts have not been made by the deadline date.
Refund of Tuition and Fees
Students officially withdrawing or dropping courses during the semester may be eligible for a refund of tuition and fees.
- Fees refundable only through 100% period
- Refund given on Short Courses only if you withdraw prior to the first day of class
- In cases of academic or disciplinary suspension, refund eligibility depends upon condition of suspension and is entirely an option of university officials
- Students ma be required to pay a portion or all financial aid received
