🚧📚 CAUTION: BOOKS BEING BOOKS! 📚🚧

In celebration of Banned Books Week, October 4–10, we’re hosting our “CAUTION: Books Being Books!” Banned Books Painting Contest on Thursday, October 8, from 10 AM–2 PM! 🎨📖

Inspired by this year’s “Let Books Be Books” theme, students and community members are invited to get creative by painting over excerpts from banned and challenged books from OUR collection! Come create, enjoy refreshments, have some good conversation, and celebrate books, creativity, and the freedom to read.

🏆 Then it’s time to vote!

All completed artwork will be displayed at the Townsend Library Circulation Desk for one week following the event.
