PACE Onboarding
The purpose of PACE's Onboarding is to familiarize each new or returning student with program resources, policies, and goals. Each student MUST complete Onboarding before the session start date in order to join class.
Only students who have completed a student interview are able to complete Onboarding. If you have not been interviewed, please contact the PACE office at 575-439-3812 to be added to the schedule.
To successfully complete the new student onboarding, please follow the steps listed here:
1. Requesting a Student Email
Visit NMDELT to request your PACE student email.- When creating your email address use a combination of your first and last name, for example JohnSmith, JSmith, or JohnS.
- For your instructor's email provide pacenmsua@nmdelt.org.
- You will be asked which program you are enrolled with, check NMSU - Alamogordo.
- When logging in with your student email, you MUST include @nmdelt.org along with your username.
2. Completing Onboarding activities
Once verified, you will be provided PACE's Google Classroom link and log in using your NMDELT account.
- Logging in with any other Gmail account will not allow you to access the Onboarding Classroom.
There will be activities inside that must be completed before you can be set up for your placement testing. These activities must be completed by the time testing begins on January 5, 2026.
