External College Exam Procedures

  • Print the Test Administration Request Form (TAF) and fill it out in its entirety.

  • Scan and email the Test Administration Request Form (TAF) to the NMSU-A Testing Center.

  • The Testing Center will confirm receipt of the Test Administration Request Form (TAF).

  • The Instructor should send the exam by email or standard mail to the Testing Center. NMSU-Alamogordo, Testing Center, 2400 N. Scenic Drive, Alamogordo, New Mexico 88310.

  • The Instructor should inform the student that their test has been sent to the Testing Center.

  • The student is responsible for making an appointment with the Testing Center for the proctored exam. This will ensure that the student arrives with enough time to take the test before closing, and it also prepares the Testing Center to allow sufficient seating accommodations. If the student arrives without enough time to take the test or if the student lacks proper photo identification we will deny the proctoring of the exam. We charge a $25 fee per exam. This needs to be paid to NMSU-A’s Business Office (Student Services Building - First floor) before the test is administered.

  • The Testing Center will send the completed exam to the Instructor. Our facility prefers to scan and send a PDF version of the test via email. If required, the original exam can also be returned to the external college. In this case, please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope with suitable postage. Confirm receipt of the exam(s) from NMSU-A’s Testing Center.

  • If there are any questions, please contact us.
